Our Story
Fancy Freeze wasn’t originally ours, but when the chance came to bring it into our family, we knew it was a God-given opportunity! After years of running a home-based bakery, we were ready for a new way to share our love of sweet treats, and this little snoball trailer opened the door to something even bigger.
Now, it’s a full family effort, as a husband-and-wife team with our daughter involved; we pour our hearts into every snoball we serve. It’s more than just a business, Fancy Freeze is a way for us to share God’s love, bring joy to others, and stay rooted in our community.

Meet the Team
At Fancy Freeze, we’re more than just a snoball stand—we’re a family. After 20 years of marriage, we’ve found that some of our favorite moments are the ones we create together!
Jodi, the creative heart behind Fancy Freeze, is a former bakery owner with a serious sweet tooth. She brings years of flavor experience to every snoball, making sure each ingredient is crafted with care. When she’s not creating sweet treats and making new friends at the window, she works in financial management at a national nonprofit, where she’s spent nearly 19 years. She also loves singing on her church’s praise team and spending time with her husband, kids, grandbabies, and close friends.
Richie, the “Freeze” to Jodi’s “Fancy”, is the fun-loving strength and muscle behind Fancy Freeze. He’s the official taste-tester of all things snoball—and if you ask, he’ll gladly tell you his least favorite flavor (no sugar-coating here!). Whether he’s serving up the perfect snoball, backing the trailer into an impossible spot, or making a last-minute supply run, Richie keeps everything running smoothly with his signature calm and quiet confidence. When he’s not mixing it up in the trailer, he’s known as “Mr. President” at a Houston-based manufacturing company.
Together, their love for God, each other, and their community is what makes Fancy Freeze unique, and the perfect addition to your next event.
Alyssa, proud Aggie and daughter of Jodi and Richie, is an essential part of the Fancy Freeze crew. Whether she’s helping at events or working behind the scenes, she brings creativity, energy, and a thoughtful eye to everything she does.
With a knack for design and a love for branding, Alyssa helps shape the look and feel of Fancy Freeze—both online and in person. She doesn’t meet a stranger and has a way of making everyone feel welcome, whether she’s serving up snoballs, snapping photos, or keeping the team organized, Alyssa adds a special kind of sparkle we couldn’t do without.
